What Is the Central Corridor?
The Central Corridor is the integrated transport and logistics network that connects the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) Member States to the sea through the Port of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.
The corridor is managed by the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) , a multilateral intergovernmental body established to develop, coordinate and promote the corridor.

The Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agreement was signed on 2 September 2006 by five states (Burundi, DRC, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda) and amended on 1 December 2023 to accede Malawi and Zambia.
